I want a stenzel bar for a 1999 S3 Thunderbolt. I believe the part would be interchangable on any of the tube frame Buells through 2002, so it isn't model specific unless there's something I'm unaware of. Let me know if you have one available or where I can get one. |

Where you can get one, retail, is from from the maker: stenzel-parts.de/14321.html or from RR Customizing: r-r-customizing.de/xtshop/index.php?cPath=4_45 |

The template to make them is floating around here somewhere. You can make one yourself pretty easy with aluminum stock or have a machinist make one for cheaper than that. Its just a piece of aluminum stock with two holes and a bend. Im in the middle of a full rebuild and when I get my frame back from the powdercoater and get the frame back on the motor im going by my fabricator buddies shop to have him make me one. If your not in a huge rush I can have him make a couple of them. |

With a template and instructions, I can make one for my self. My father owned and operated a machine shop for 35 years and it is still pseudo equipped to do some work; I believe there is a mill still up and running. That would be awesome! |

Like I said. Most likely $40-50. Mine will not be quite as thick, but will have a ridge Tig'ed into it to be more rigid. Most likely lighter than the Original. |

Just went and purchased all the aluminum. Prices went up a bit. So finalized price will be $55, or $50 if you want to punch/drill your own rear hole to match your engine perfectly... I'll be making a batch tonight/tomorrow. |

3/16". 3/8" is way overkill, and just bad design. |

Rgr. 4 non holes. Last two days have been slammed crazy for me, so I haven't gotten the chance to start on them. Hopefully tonight/tomorrow morning. On a side note, I actually got the chance to finally get my car on a dyno. 359 hp and 820 ft/lbs of torque. No... that is not a typeo. |

Ok. So I finally got around to it. This one is a bit rough, as I was getting the welder set to this aluminum type, But you get the gist of it. The next ones will be cleaner.
