I'm doing some cleaning & maint. Removed the bottom plate of the air box and I can see a "vacuum hose connector" with nothing attached, on the left side of the butterfly.? Is this supposed to have a vacuum hose, or should it be plugged off? |

Plugged off unless you are in California, in which case a vacuum hose should be running to the fuel tank emissions canister. |

That fitting is ported vacuum for the vapor recovery system on 50 state (or ca) bikes. A cap on the fitting is good. As left uncapped, it's a way for unfiltered air to enter the engine.. However, the hole is so small it will plug itself after a while. |

"you are still Buelling". With a bike like the Uly given what it can do, its cost and all the other stuff, it is VERY hard to better and the reason I have the 10 bike. Nothing else even came close to the Uly for me and the ONLY bike I have had two of. And all the "doom and gloom" of ownership has been no worse than any other bike I have had before. Today I had some women, at the gas station, ask me to show them how to check there tire pressures. Or more like me do it for them? Anyway whatever you run you should at least have some basic idea and a bike needs more. |
