Panniers and heated grips - major surgery for the grip wiring, geez...

Just got back from lunch with U4 and DeVus, good to see you guys. I did not meet my goal, need another 300 miles ride to get there. Maybe the next warm weekend we can get all these new rides together. |

I'm pretty damn happy with it, Prior. It has more than enough power for me, seating position fits me pretty well, suspension soaks up road irregularities, and the triple's voice is beautiful. It's going to take a little time to get used to the much wider handle bars.
The F800GS is also worth looking at - almost the same bike. Seat is narrower and it's down 10 hp to the Tiger, other than that just technical details are different. Both are great bikes. |

First day with computer access! Picked the big girl up Monday morning, and rode well into the night! Handles great, stuck around close to house on some of my favorite backroads so I could get a feel for what it would do compared to the Buell/ Z1000. While I wont be doing track days on it, I think it will handle just about anything I might get a muster to ride. It's quick! short Hyabusa quick, but it will get on up ther in the blink of an eye! Can't wait to make a good long trip and work any bugs and surprises out! |

With all these new bikes, I wonder if anyone needs any new gear.
Someone I worked with previously had bought an online motorcycle accessory business http://www.spoiledbiker.com/, had success and opened a small storefront in New Bern (James City to be more exact). Today I got a text message from him:
"I have accepted a job as an engineer in SC and will be downsizing Spoiled Biker. I plan on keeping audio, electronics and hardware inventory but am happy to sell the helmets, lighting and luggage inventory that I have at or below cost. Brands include Scorpion and skid lid helmets, givi, mustang, kiryakyn an T-bags luggage, PIAA lights"
I'm pretty sure that the prices on the website do not reflect this inventory reduction sale, so if you're in the need for some gear give Jon a call and see what kind of deals can be had. When was the last time you could get PIAA lights at or below cost? Mentioning that I told you about it might not help get a better deal, but would at least let him know how you found out about the deals to be had.
I've gotten my last handful of tires from him and he's always treated me (better than) fairly,

Wish I was putting on 1000 miles on a ride. I wanted to break 60,000 miles before the end of the year but looks like I'm going to 300 miles short because doubt I'll pull the bike out this year. |

Come on Carlos, Christmas break, can't e find one day to put 300 miles on these machines. I just installed my heated gear cable, find try top take the lowering links off this weekend.
Anyone up for a ride ok the next couple of weeks? |
