On the RSS 1200, is the positive side on the left side of the bike, and the negative on the right? Just wondering. the battery I got for the bike, for the positive to be on the right the terminals are on the side of the tire. the wires do not reach that far...If I reverse the position of the battery, then the wires would have to cross over and are not long enough. Everything I can see shows the positive side on the left of the bike.....REX |

On the RS at the house, the positive is on the right side (rider perspective), with the terminal facing the front of the bike. I assume the RSS is the same, but I'll "officially" check the RSS at the garage. |

Thanks. If I turn the terminals of the battery toward the front of the bike, the connections will fit perfectly. The positive will be on the right side of the bike, riders right. But it looks like the red wires, etc. are all set up to fit on the left side of the bike? If that is the case, the wires are not long enough to overlap each other, or criss cross. There was a battery charger set up on this bike, and all of the red wires are on the left side? Thanks, REX |

My positive terminal has the red wire on it, which run down the left side of the bike. All the wiring harness runs on the left side of the frame.
These are from the RS in the garage, but the RSS is the same.} |
