Only thing I have heard is that Bostrom will not be back with Jordan. This years "silly season" is taking quite awhile to get going. I really think they are being held up by the lack of a TV contract and that is a big negative to potential sponsors for sure. |

I betting Cory West will ride a EBR. |

I really hope Eslick stays with EBR for at least another season. He was just starting to hit his stride at the end of the season. Maybe Hero is bringing on a second rider? Looks like Cory is at least testing at homestead. (Message edited by unique_id on November 30, 2012) |

"I sure hope Danny sticks with EBR next year..." Yeah, me too. There's a 'rumor' thread on another board that he will take over the JMS #23 next season. He still shows up on the EBR site race team, so hopefully it's just that, a rumor. Gotta nip it, nip it in the bud:

Here's a photo that EBR posted to their Facebook page today (suitably cropped and zoomed). Note the #20 on the EBR bike.
Someone on FB speculated that it's Aaron Yates (?). (Message edited by Hughlysses on November 30, 2012) |

I am probably as close to Cory West as anybody having sponsored and tuned for his dad and then him in his early racing days. I spoke to him recently and as of now his deal with EBR is a day job at the factory. Racing for them is a possibility, but it depends as it always does on sponsorship and in the current economic climate sponsorship is hard to come by. Cory is also talking with some other teams about 2013. |

BTW there is a CCS event at Homestead this weekend. I assume that EBR will stay and participate. If so the results should be interesting. http://www.ccsracing.us/ |

Smart move by EBR, hire some of the best racers in the business off season to get some insight on the bike. I'm looking forward to my $100 Race membership... you know, the one that gives me live web streaming access to a race broadcasts for all the races for the 2013 season. They will make decent money off me for just the membership (more than enough to completely support the infrastructure to deliver it), and then they will give away race team sponsor time as a part of the broadcast in order to get companies to sponsor teams. |

So, still no decision on tv coverage? Is there a way to contact Fox sports (who reputedly bought SPEED) to voice our opinion on what they should cover? I know I'll shut off DTV if there is no AMA coverage.... I agree with Reep, and add that by having more racers experience the EBR, perhaps the sales of the 1190RS will go up within the privateer ranks...(Pegram, for example) I am hoping Danny will rejoin Geoff on the "factory" team, they seem to work together well, and brought outstanding results for the 1st full season on the 1190's... |

If it is true that Slick is on his way to JMS that is good news for him. As much as I would like to see him on an EBR it still is great to see him keep getting good rides. Wonder who was #20. That has been Yates number. Hopefully it was Aaron. I like how EBR is bringing in other experienced racers(Yates, West,Zemke) to help development. |

Number 20 was Yates, but he was only there Friday. West and May are there for the whole weekend for the CCS races. |

Xb9er, The riders are professionals and like other pro athletes, they only have a limited time to make a success. While they may have a loyalty to a particle brand they have to do what is best to advance their career. All the best to Danny who I have watched since I first saw him as a little kid at an indoor short track at Muskogee, Ok. I remember the enthusiasm he had then and I knew he would go far. |

Quote from EBR at Homestead today on Facebook. "All the fans and riders at the CCS race in Homestead enjoyed seeing the EBR 1190RS in action. Geoff and Cory here on the grid in 5th and 6th rows.. Of course they didn't stay in those spots! Cory was in the lead by the second lap, then Geoff came by shortly after. So Geoff and Cory were 1-2. Rest of the day they will likely just test and pull out before the end. Geoff in the 22's with new lower traction spec tire. A good weekend for testing, and the CCS guys run an excellent show. As you saw, lots of bikes on the grid!" |

If 'Slick goes, I too will be sorry to see it. It may be that Hero has not (yet?) signed a sponsorship deal for next season. Rather than waiting to see what happened with that, Danny may have chosen to take another deal. A bird in the hand is better than one in the bush and all that. Another post on Facebook from EBR when asked if they are running traction control today: "No electronics yet. Planning to do for 2013. New tires have less traction so will definitely need it." |

I'm not sure how many of our current AMA Superbike riders were there today but I would imagine a few were. It leads me to believe that the cat will be out of the bag this coming week as to where some may be going or have landed. |
