The ULY guys found a aftermarket supplier for Belts. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell /messages/142838/697828.html?1352206441 Anyone have the specs handly on the stock belt? http://www.fptgroup.com/dss/docs/306_synchro_torqu edriveplus3.pdf This could also be helpful for fabing shorter swing arms. Humm, XB length swing arm with Blast 16" rims..... |

I wounder if the pea shooter swing arm would work..... The shock is mounted more horizontal so we would need a smaller battery (EBR), and a new upper shock...... XB maybe...... |

Yeah - if Red Feather sold just the swing-arm from their tracker frame - a lot of folks would be happier. EZ |

I own a 2000 P3 Buell blast 500cc. About six months ago my rear drive belt snapped so she has been sitting for awhile. I have looked and I cannot seem to find a new belt for this years of bike. Do I need to look in a certain place? Or is there another year that will work? If you could get back to me that would be great. |

Try Buell Parts I've bought from them with no issues (and they can order the belt) - expect about $80 That being said, make sure your 2000 has been updated with the recall. If you count your sprocket's teeth and get 80, you're good. If that recall hasn't been done - you need to get a new sprocket and belt anyway. Don't worry about the year of the belt - the belts available (or orderable) are for post-recall Blasts of any year. (Message edited by vicenzajay on December 02, 2014) |
