Newfie, I saw that snow picture you posted, wow, will it be melted in time? It looks like the wife isn't interested in coming so that increases my chance to 99.5%. I always hate to say that I'm 100% because you never know what might happen. Hey Mr.Grumpy- There is a town near us that has an annual Grump day and they always elect a Grump for the year. You could come visit us and probably be nominated as an honorary Grump for being an out of country visitor. |

Anybody mind if i were to kinda join the group, along with a non Buell riding partner??? We are %100, baring any bike problems or major deals, but it looks like we would meet the group at the ferry, instead of traveling with the whole group, were to close to stop in Detroit, and would rather have 2 500 mile days instead of 1 350 and 1 800, or the abouts, if there is any problem with this let me know, our other trip kinda fell threw,(actually pushed aside) so what do you say Newfie you have mail thanks Roger |

Roger, Look here for complete pricing...Ferry Service/ I'm guessing the price is in Canadian dollars. It still looks very reasonable. Damn, I wish I was taking this trip!!! I should have waited to pop the question (nah, just kidding) |

After further revue, and consulation with the ever important wife, i am now %100 going, without a doubt, as is my freind Dana and his Bandit 600, i am undecided between the S3T and the Ducati monster, however i belive the S3 will win out barring un forseen problems our agenda, incase there is anyone else who would like to join, but would prefer not to do the 800 mile day is as follows leave thursday July 29th chicago - Toronto friday July 30th Toronto-Springfield VT. saturday July 31sy Springfield Vt - St. John NS Sunday August 1st St. John - North Sydney The rest of the trip is the same, this of course means that the dates Newfie has put down are incorrect, as Aug 1st is sunday NOT friday Our trip will remain the same if it is that week(the week of August 1st or the following Sunday August 8th, however i would prefer to stick with the first week of August if possiable) works out a little better, not knocking anybody, i would however like to nail down the dates, make sure they are correct, and make the ferry reservations, however if Nefies run on a different calander(say a 2003 ) than i will ask for forgivness at a later date, this trip is planned for 2004 right On a side note, MikeJ interested in selling that ventura rack system???email is in the profile thanks guy, should be a good time later ROger oh and sorry for all the errors, i have been plowing for alomost 15 hours, should catch up by the weekend |

Ok I fucked up the date, damm 2003 calander!!!! Just take my plan and move it accordingly!!!! It would be nice for you all to hit the island on a Friday or Saturday though!!! I'd go with the S3 as there are even fewer Ducati Dealers on this side of the world. |

Mr_Grumpy perhaps? Heck if can I go, I may be persuaded to lay the bike aside for awhile and do chase perhaps allowing an international visitor the use of an S3T. |

however if Newfies run on a different calander What do you expect? Can you imagine, when it's 6:00 o'clock est, it's 7:30 Newfie time. And you think their calenders wouldn't be a challenge? I understand the time zone thing but it still makes me laugh. You people have no idea how much I would like to do this trip. It's been on my to do list far too long. It just won't happen for me this year. I still have some displaced Newfie relatives in Sydney NS that should be imposed upon. It's been 35 years since my last trip there. If any of you have the time to ride the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton before or after I would highly suggest you do. The scenery is fantastic and the road is (was) lightly traveled. I only remember it as being incredibly fun to drive. I've been told by a well traveled car enthusiast who's driven all over the world that the Cabot Trail is one of his favorites. Considering his background I did not take that lightly. Hmmmmmm, drive a Saab chase vehicle, hmmmmmmm.
