Which is the first production S2 Front brake rotor?
9 button, then 6 button or vise sersa?
All factory brochures I have, both, 1995 and 96 show the 9 buton on the bikes, but wasnt the 6 button the first, then the 9 was the update?
Id just like to no as #361 has a 6 button on it, and my 96 s2T has a 9..????

The original-original was a 'stacked' design, the carrier sat behind the braking surface.

The updates moved the carrier and braking surface into the same plane.

Original, non-updated S2T rotor:

factory rotor on my new-to-me 98 S3 Defender (same as the rotor on my 98 S1W):

You can see the S2 rotor is "stacked" while the S3's is "flat"...
