Hey all, I couldn't really find a clear answer. I want higher bars on my 1125r. I think the CR top triple clamp will be a straight bolt on but I heard the Ulysses clamp will also work. Can someone confirm or deny? Thanks! |

I'm pretty sure a Uly top triple will work but the CR uses a 1 1/8th bar and the Uly uses a 7/8's bar. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. |

pretty sure the uly top clamp fork holes are smaller diameter as well. cr top clamp will require a cr ignition barrel, cr hi-bars won't clear fairing cut outs. saw a NZ bueller modify stock bars to gain about an inch while retaining all stock "R" bits. heli-bars might be available but are scarce down-under |

You could also replace both triple clamps for the XB Lightning stuff. The ignition switches will be different for R and CR and XB. Also the R/CR vs. XB spacing between the fork tubes is off by 2.2 mm (the 1125 stuff being wider) Not sure about the Uly. Just the upper clamp can be forced on but you will see what happens when you leave the clamps loose and remove the front axle. Not a happy situation for the fork bushings. |

Pretty much been on the same journey here. Heli-Bar doesn't make anything. Contacted them a couple of times. Just no market for them in spite of already having done an upper for the XB series. Al at American Sportbike has riser bars and I've had them on for a while now. An improvement, but not what I was looking for. Got an EBR upper and some Vortex clip-ons that I just put on this weekend. Too low with the Vortex bars, so I'm trying them with Al's bars first. Been cold and rainy here, so haven't had the chance to try them on the road yet. They don't work out, the next step is to move the clip-ons above the upper with the Vortex bars instead. Looks to be about 5-6 mm above the fork tubes, but I think they'll be ok. |

Here is a picture of the Lightning triples and alloy Renthal Superbike bars. |
