Looking at this a different way, how much for all of the parts, and you don't have to disassemble,box, or ship? Once sold you don't have to worry about farther than the end of your drive. | ||

I spent a good while talking to Hank this evening. As much as I might have wanted to suggest otherwise before, I found him to be a very reasonable, knowledgeable, and practical individual. He's certainly more of a biker/Bueller than I expect I'll ever be. In some ways I think he's just the messenger on this one and certainly doesn't deserve the BS. Thx ER.. After our phone conversation I have decided that while I am pursing my situation with the Homeland Security USA entry issue, I might as well work on getting the title for #361 to CDN as well..Im probably going to have to go to Pembina ND crossing anyhow, so if i dot my Ts correct, #361 might as well come with me and get cleared... It can sit in the corner of the shop,and gather required parts to refresh it back to a running, Good Looking S2 again once cleared...Hopefully it can be. This isnt about money to me, as thats not an issue, its more about time..As stated my health isnt the greatest as the clock and too many wild rides over the last 56 yrs is taking its toll on me...So, hopefully, Im around long enough to Getter done! There is some parts I will not need and will be ebaying them for those who read this.. NOS Header Deep baglids Shallow Lids Fairing Bags NOS Showa 14.5 shock 9 button rotor rear caliper and mount Vg used fork leg assemblies Marchy wheels And an assortment of other stuff.. I need to clean house on Buell and HD parts, as Id hate to leave a mess behind for others to clean up...Im sure Frank S can relate to this. Would anyone no how i can get a letter stating the recalls have bin performed? it has to be from Buell or maybe an HD dealer?? Any input Joe,Frank,Court,Gavin,Dave? Onahog.. I've imported a few bikes to Canada and have been able to get the recall letter from the Harley dealer. I had to have one recall done on my S1 but they are still obligated to do it if it's required. Also after 15 years from the date of manufacture you don't have to do the RIV on an import. I know on the several S-2s I researched before deciding on Rhonda, I was able to call a local dealership and they looked it up for me. So there's that. Will be watching for some of this stuff on e-bay. Those deep bag lids are tempting. pity I didn't see the stuff about the red Snap bodywork prior to your withdrawing the ad...I'd love to have a second Red set... | ||

Lynrd..Saddlebags set and Header On ebay Madmacks.. The bike is exempt from recalls and RIV as its 17 yrs old..But get this, Now they tell me the previous onwner has to pysically export, then import and pay GST on it..Then he can legally sell it to me. The way it is, he could be charged with illegal disposal in another counrty... Its a F**kin Motorcycle..Unreal eh! Iv had contact with the previous owner and Him and I are gonna work on it..Prob take alot of time and BS tho, but, Im not a quiter. | ||
