HIPPIE, How many miles on the bike? |

The bike has 15912 miles on. Both the previous owner and myself work about 40 miles from home so a lot of those miles are highway. I also forgot to mention it has a V&H exhaust. I have the original exhaust too. Mike

Hippie, You call the bike an S3T. Do you have the saddle bags with bracketry and fairing lowers? What is the VIN? |

The only original equipment I don't have is the original carb. It has the S&S now. Wouldn't have been my first choice but it seems to work really well. That's why the fairing lowers are off. I do have the saddlebags (which look almost new) and the mounting bracket. The VIN is 4MZRS11J9W3000533. To be honest, it may have been an S3 to start. I know the original owner picked up the bags after he got the bike. It's had all the updates done at the dealer. My reason for selling is because my brother-in-law and a very close friend were both hit by semi's in the last 5-6 months in separate accidents. They will both be recovering from severe injuries for the next year. They are lucky. I've ridden bikes for 20 years and have had my own accidents but these 2 events have made me re-evaluate. I have 2 young boys that I don't want to miss being there for because some idiot makes an illegal left in front of me. The bike is too nice to let sit and rot so I decided to sell. This is by far the best bike I've ever owned and I hate to sell but.... Oh well. A little more info than normal for a classified but I figured I'd explain a bit. Let me know if you need any other info. I'm asking $4700 obo which I believe is a good deal for this bike. I lowered the price because it's the off season. Let me tell you guys who ever buys this bike is going to be very pleased. That bike rips. It's got it low and high. Also it is one beautiful bike. Davefl This is the bike I was telling you about. SgtBuell, Thanks for the endorsement. Too bad it didn't work out for ya. You're talking me into keeping the bike. I had a fun ride home on it today and I'm thinking about doing that moroso muffler mod to it. |
