First let me say, if you don't plan on buying this, please don't clutter my ad with BS arguments or debate. Save it for the potential buyers. background thread; http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/693375.html?1347700561 What we have here; a 1250 kit from NRHS, i bought it in 2003, planned on rebuilding the engine for the S3. Everything is brand new, still in the original boxes, just opened for inspection and these pics. This kit is very marketable, since any Sportster or Tuber can utilize it. I will negotiate, but no low ballers please. Not really interested in trades, unless.....I would consider partial trade for Brand New Conti Ext Contact tires for my 2010 Camaro, if you have an "in" somewhere, or New Pirelli Angel ST for the Uly. That's what I would have to spend the money on anyhow. Heads; Brand New Thunderstorms, NRHS Stage 2 Ported, HiPerf Spring Seat Locator, 1.850" Int Valve, 1.615" Exh Valve, .600" Lift Perf Valve Springs, HiPerf 10 deg Valve Lock, .600"/.650" Titanium Retainer, Perf Valve guide seals. Cylinders; Brand New Millennium Technologies, NikaSil coated all aluminum, Silver. Pistons; Hurricane Forged, 10.5:1CR, 3.563" Bore, T-Storm Dome. (I believe they are CP?) w/ wrist pin/clips. Rings; Total Seal 3.563". Gaskets; Cometic EST top end kit. Cams; SE .536" for 91-99 Sportster/Buell. Now for the pics; Kit; Heads; Jugs; Cams; Pistons; Gaskets/Rings; To buy all this today would cost about $3100, I want $2300 OBO shipped, negotiable within reason. That's more than 25% off of retail. |

It's a great deal, and if it weren't that my x1 has all that i woulden't doubt in buying it. |

Kalali; not quite. taken from elsewhere on this site; "S1,S1W,X1,S3 andS3T came with the Screaming Eagle part# 25648-91 to 1999. Part#25648 2000 and up. Their specs are the same: .497" lift for intake and exhaust with 256 degree duration @.053 for intake/exhaust. M2's used the stock 1200 Sportster cams. Many people upgraded to the bigger S.E. cams[.536"/.536" lift & 256 deg./266 deg. intake/exhaust] for more power. Nallin used these cams in his S1W with great success." "The X1 cams are the same as N4s, more or less. .497". The higher lift cams, SE .536", should have heavier valve springs, I think. But that may only be the case if you change your ignition to allow revs to 6800 to use the powerband that the higher cams are built for." |
