Well after searching for 3 months, I finally found me a uly. Its an 06 with 8k on it. So far I love it, took it for a test ride, I was thinking, why am i having to put so much into making this thing turn, stopped at a gas station, has 12 psi in it, got it filled up and its a whole different bike! 2 things I dont like, it came with a huge windshield, he forgot the short shield, once i get it I hope to like it better, and the stock seat on the 06 is TALL. I am 5'10 with a 32 inch inseam and am tiptoeing. I'd like to find a low seat option, or maybe a regular seat for a newer one will be better? I think it is a great big brother to my ninja 250. I'll have to take a picture of them side by side. I'd eventually like to get a hawk exhaust and have him redo the ecm. and maybe a comfort kit of the right side. | ||

Too bad we're not local. I already swapped out my 2008 seat for one from a 2006. My 2008 seat is just sitting there asking for a new home. There is probably someone closer to you that has a new set to trade. | ||

Nate, I ordered an 08 tonight I believe for about $80, gonna try it out. Streetgliderx, let me know how to goes with Randy.I emailed him today, and he immediately emailed me back telling me to call him. I havent been able to yet. I was going to go to the gap tomorrow (sun) as well, but the girlfriend's bday was this week and we are going to celebrate tomorrow. Have fun and be careful! | ||
