Hey Tom, Great seeing everybody at the christmas party. The new bike is a super freak, super freak, she's super freaky. Break in went well, but for the race we ended up having a choice of bikes. The open class had something like 35 entries, while there was only 16 in the middleweight, so we ended up running a KTM 300 EXC middleweight. I took the 1st hour stint and was in 5th place when the front fender broke and rolled into the tire...my arch nemesis gravity then took effect and went sliding along for 20 or 30 yards. I ripped the fender off and went back out, but then they black flagged us for not having a front fender. Went into the pits, and luckily someone pitted near us had a spare that fit our bike (almost), so it took about a 1/2 hour and we finally got back out there. Didn't even bother checking how we finished as after the fender incident, we were just in it for fun. pretty frickin' cold though! It was all filmed and is supposed to be on Spyke TV on a motorcyclist program a week from this Tuesday. Look for us (#61) | ||

Oh yeah Dana.....Thanks for the tape! You may have mixed mine up though. Bow Chika chika Bow... I'll never see you or the Mrs in the same light again... Ref: 15 minutes of fame: I'm not sure we will even get any airtime. I did stall right in front of the camera once. I can't even find spike TV on my satellite so I'm not sure what the deal is! | ||

Bad -- well, then, I'll not argue with ya . . .. I enjoyed the tape greatly, as you said I would . . . . it's always fun to here a propeller-head talk about something they feel passionately about, and this tape is a great example of that . . .. . . tell Naughty Nurse she donw good! | ||
