"Tired of all the BadWeb'er complaints about low horsepower, Buell will announce that they have acquired the Boss Hoss motorcycle company and will be rebranding the V8 monster bikes with Buell nameplates. "

Buell has been bought back by Buell employees and is no longer controled by the "Mothership"? |

>>>Does someone actually like you Dave? Please don't hold the good folks of Buell to that standard of expectation....they are, collectively, perhaps geniuses but even they have their limits.

Jesse's piece in the most recent Cycle World shows that he either: 1. has been watching Buells for a while, or, 2. has recently developed and engineering mindset remarkable similar to Mr Buell and some of the concept bike builders at Honda |

Everybody involved in design, including WillieG, looks at what both the factories and the public are doing to the bikes. To design blind is to fail. Guaranteed that Erik makes many mental notes of what we do to our Buells when he sees them at various gatherings. Jesse may be Jesse, but he's neither blind nor a fool. |

speaking of Jesse, he use to have an RS1200 sitting under his steps of his shop. Ness also had one in his old museum.

If Buell.com ungraded their web site to require upgrades to browsers then they just lost a lot of viewers. IMHO. |

Turnagain, I got the same message earlier, even though I've already got Explorer 5.0. Now, I just get the site. What am I supposed to be looking for? Last time, my pop-up blocker was keeping me from seeing the T-shirt offer. |

Mike -- you're right, of course (and I've seen what seem to be a couple of customer-inspired changes to factory Buells since I've been watching . . . .. anyone in the business certainly watches many sources) Jesse ain't a fool, nor blind, and, likely, not nearly as much of a bone-head as he appears to be on Monster Garage . . . .I wasjust a little surprised that he was looking outside of his own area of expertise (although, given his corporate expansion lately, I should not have been . . .. . the boy's doin OK for scooter trash, yes?) RE: Buell.com -- the web-heads are constantly trying to drag the rest of the world into their own reality (i.e., latest browser, biggest memory, 17 required programs to view a page), but something tells me this tease page is just that, a teaser |

Could this be it, the 4th quarter financials? http://www.harley-davidson.com/CO/NEW/en/PressRelease_Date.asp?locale=en_US&bmLo cale=en_US&id_in=552&dspmm=01&dspyy=2004 "HARLEY-DAVIDSON REPORTS RECORD FOURTH QUARTER AND 18TH CONSECUTIVE RECORD YEAR Milwaukee, Wis., (January 21, 2004) " Interesting words: "Buell Motorcycle Company produces sport and sport-touring motorcycles."

Not there yet. I am tired of waiting so here's the deal. Go to Buell.com(when they get it on there) and you will be able to print off a coupon for another FREE shirt. Streetfighter promotion! 0 down,0 payments, 0 interest for 90 days on MOST new Buells, not all. Info I got yesterday says it started yesterday and goes thru the 31st of march. T shirts available in M,L,XL and XXL First come first served, limited quantity so do it ASAP(when they decide to actually put it on the website?) PS, ALL Buell dealers have access to the same info I do(in this case anyway). Ride to the edge! Dave Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

When I did go there I checked the lastest news and it was dated November. Somethin' 'bout a shirt. So it a new shirt huh? I did always manage to forget getting the last one. Even though I went to dealers about 6 times during the offer. |
