Directly from NEW JERSEY............................................ ....Geoff had third in the bag and looked like he was going to get Josh Herrin for second from my vantage point when Blake Young purportedly pinched him off at the end of the front straightaway. Geoff is OK, but I didn't actually speak to him after the race so this came from a crewmember.Guess we'll all witness it tonight as Speed will be showing it at 11 or 12 o:clock tonight.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he had third in the bag. Herrin was very comfortably in second when May went down and Young was steadily eating up the gap. Hence the pinch. The bike took quite a beating. Fortunately Geoff seemed unscathed. |

That track needs a jumbotron!! One minute we've got Geoff nipping at Young's heels comfortably in fourth and the next we see Roger Hayden in third, Young considerably farther back and no Geoff! Didn't know what happened till we got back and read about it online. |
