Ive read some reviews on the Hella lamps and they say that the halo is so dim that you cant see it during the day. Any pics with them on? I know its not just about that part of the light but if I'm paying for it I want them to show during the day. |

XBkris, those mirrors are very short, I had a pair on my uly and had to put extenders to see past my elbows. Thats just me though. The dimensions are on the web somewhere, you may want to look them up before you pop for a pair. I had to take mine off they just didn't work. |

Thanks for the heads up. Did not even think of that. Do you still have yours that you would be willing to sell to see if they would work for me? I really like the look of the angel eyes on the fog lights. Want to find a set that are visible during the day. Some of the high end cars have this. Any luck anyone? |

Mine did not have the lighting but are the same mirrors. IIRC made in China Ebay parts. They are going on my 78 Suzuki GS750 cafe project. This link has dimensions http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aprilia-RX50-Shiver-SX125-Tuono-1000-10mm-INTEGRATED-LED-MIRRORS-Carbon-/220968835718?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3372c4da86&vxp=mtr (Message edited by rwcfrank on September 07, 2012) (Message edited by rwcfrank on September 08, 2012) |

Hellas are H-3 halogen, Blinglights are HID. BIG difference. |

the hella angel ring is hard to see in daylight but shows up nicely at night. I use cr mirrors, and have hellas mounted where the signals used to be. Love the setup, have the hellas wired to come on with the high beam (and the rings are always on with the ignition). |

Ratbuell, you are using the 1125 mirrors right? Any pics of your bike online? I'm pretty sure I've seen it on here before. |

I bought a set of the lights mentioned here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=607184 BRIGHT AS CRAP! And, being LED, they are instant on. I have them wired through a relay triggered by the high beam wire, and I have the both-lights-on-high mod....hit the high beam and I go from 1 light to 4! I also run CR mirrors for my turns, and have the LEDs mounted in the factory turn signal holes. Personally, I think that the "techy" look of the black anodized LED housings, and the smaller size fit the Uly perfectly.

I have had the H3 Optilux driving lights on the bike for a few years. I designed an aluminum bracket that mounts under the turn signal. I have the duel light mod and an HID on the low beam side. I wired in relays to run the HID and driving lights directly from the battery. All lights go on at high beam. Clears up the night quite well. I like Andymnelson's mounting for his driving lights. Very clean. Note: I choose a driving beam pattern in lieu of the shorter fog light pattern.

If looking for high power LEDs (from China like the stuff on ADV Rider), cheapest to go direct: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Freeshipping-daytim e-running-light-DRL-Round-4W-LED-daytime-running-l ight-R-0/507786143.html A friend just put them on his KLR, and the make incredible light. |

While I won't disagree with you in principal, those are 4W LEDs, whereas the ones i have are 24W. Yes, they are bright. |

Your quite right! Think these were the ones I was talking about: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cheap-shipping-9-32 V-12W-Auto-high-power-LED-work-Light-18months-warr anty/492886335.html Actually, I bought 4 of the exact ones Sanjoh sells from Alibaba. They cost me $15 bucks a piece! but lasted me a good 2 grand miles before the flimsy brackets broke. Too much vibration. I think that Sanjoh now sells beefier brackets. Waay necessary on the Uly. I can't find the lights on Alibaba any longer. But there is so much available. Just don't feel good buying from a Chinese factory where kids are doing the soldering. But that's another story . . . Wow. I need those LED's on my CR! Crappy high beam, nowhere near the charging system of an XB...love the low wattage draw, and high output! Hmmmm.... and yes...1125CR mirrors on the Ulysses:
