MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE... I just received via e-mail my copy of the KC Central BRAG Quarterly. Those that contributed their writings did an outstanding job sharing with the rest of us, their experiences and points of view. I really wish I could have made the Arkansas trip... I think even more now that I REALLY missed a great trip. I want to say that Thunder (Jeff) did AN OUTSTANDING JOB of producing the news letter. The color in the news letter really gives it a professional look... and even printed out on a conventional laser printer... the images used are fantastic! Thanks to those that contributed in writing to this issue... and thanks to Jeff for an outstanding job of putting it all together. I look forward to the next issue!!! |

Richie Did you have the new mounts on that pipe? I ask because I just installed one on my X1. I ordered the strap mount from them this week. Force is redoing their website and will be selling there products direct!! No more custom chrome or wonderful Harley dealers to deal with!! I will try a new battery when the sun comes up. Any type/brand to stay away from? |

Jeff, Got it. Looks good. Thanks, John Richie, You might talk to some of the helmet mfgs. and ask them to make one with a shield like the new welding helmets use. Turns dark when the arc strikes. You may need one on those early am starts. Thats on bright someinobeach! |

X1db, I would use one of the Odesy batterys the are a dry battery and last several years and have a much higher cranking output. I always had to replace the battery in my bike every year even if I put a trickle charger on it in the winter until I went to the Odesy battery, it is now 4 years old and going great. They cost more than other batterys but not having to mess with it and the easier start is well worth it. You can get them from Batterys Plus stores and some bike shops. |

X1db,yes I have the new Force with the new front mount. The pipe split behind the rear cylinder. My mount is ok.I called Force today, turned out like I expected........I may try to have it welded and see if holds together, or I can buy a Force pipe every year........NOT!You can get Odessy batteries at a place by Kemper Arena, they have the cheapest prices I have found.I get all my batteries there.I think the name of the place is Standard Battery. |

OK guys... if I sent you a email of the news letter yesterday... please over look the TYPOS. Seems like every time I read it I see more and more... I have sent a revised version to Kyle at Central, so she can print out some color copies for people walking into the dealership and members. Keef ... I didn't send you a copy, something about you don't accept attachments in your email. We will get every member a color copy soon!! Jeff |

Neill... Jeff and I briefly discussed that... more toward the "adventures of DASXB9S" after a trip... assuming I can ever make one. The problem I see... is that it seems an average "ranting" is about 4 pages on wordperfect... when the news letter was 6 pages. By the time all my personalties contribute... it ends up VERY long. I have planted the idea for something short in the last neighbor meeting held in my head... they all like the idea of a short story... but it will be a task to keep it short... we will just have to see what works it's way out of my fingers from the bunch in my head. I will try! GENERAL drivel... I actually did a bunch of stuff and the "community" did not force me to write about any disasters involved. For Sam and Bill... who have been to the casa de bankrupt... and seen the bike shop... that nasty wall framed where I park the BMW & Blast is no longer there. I took it down and as close as I can, correctly framed that wall. Now I just need the money to get the shop wired and get peg board hung. I tapped the power off directly to my radar detector... from the lighter power socket for the GPS. I also pulled out the service manual and set up the suspension from the chart in the manual... the settings from the dealer weren't matched front to rear. Front was setup for 230+ pound rider and the rear for a 130 + pound rider. I am eager to see if I can tell a difference. I also got a XB12 air box cover... which is supposed to help direct air into the velocity stack better than the original. Rumored to be good for 3 to 6 cheap hp (if there is a such thing as cheap HP)... I can't wait to butt dyno that change. Also... at the top of the XB12 air box cover is a space for the electronics for the exhaust valve system on the XB12... I used that space to mount my alarm system. It is not as loud as I would like... but if someone get the urge to move my bike while parked (that has happened twice... and I was not amused either time) it will indicate that it is not condoned! Any way... that is how I spent my 3 day weekend. I do not have as cool a project as Richie... but it kept me busy... I am eager to see Richie's ride in person! |

The ORANGE paint on the bike is a NATIONALLY recognized color that means CAUTION or STAY AWAY!The ORANGE POWDER COAT has some TOP SECRET CLASSIFIED additives that when a current is induced ,change the molecular composisition of the paint, and render the bike STEALTH or INVISIBLE !It can only be located with the most sophisticated radar the US GOVERNMENT now has.I was contacted by a gentleman that I will call.......MR.ANDERSON,about trying this new technology in the private sector. |

Hey Richie and Keef, I heard you were looking for me (ex- Buellmule). I traded the blast in for a XB9S low. So of course I had to change my name. As you can see it's "Fiery XB". So is the KC Mob coming up for the "Buell Coming home" event in June? How things in KC town? Fiery XB formerly Buellmule |
