Some people are just natural lurkers. There's nothing I like more than a good lurk, except having an ogle while I'm lurking!

I'm a member and a lurker. I find it most disappointing that the advancement of professional, Buell development information is limited to a hand full of dealers on this board. Other than that this board is incredible and the dealers are superb. Just my opinion. |

Hi, I have been regularly reading this site for several years. I am very much captivated by Buells. I have read everything I can get my hands on. I look for coverage on Buells in all the magazines and find that I am frustrated when they are treated unfairly. I don't even own the bike. I have just recently sold my SV650. Though I liked it very much it did not capture me the way the Buell does. Visually I still like the tube frame bikes the best but the XB's have really grown on me. I will own a Buell in the future. I have 4 kids and not a great deal of disposable cash. I'm not interested in financing one. I have enjoyed reading this web page very much. I especially enjoy reading Court's take on things. He brings a certain amount of balance. |

It's great seeing some new names! Welcome everybody. Todd451, Court is not well balanced. We must whisper so he won't hear us. He is not well. I'm just kidding! I kid! |

Todd, there are some really good prices on used Buells if you're short on cash and like the Tubers. Just keep your eyes open, and you'll find a Buell you can afford. Do all the updates - rear isolators, metal rocker box gaskets, front exhaust support, etc. - and you should have a trouble free and incredibly enjoyable ride. You won't believe how much you can grin! |

Admitted Lurker! Still learning the Buell lingo. Back in 99 I started reading Thunder Press, It usually had a couple of articles about Buell's and the people who rode them. If I remember right Court wrote some and a guy from N.Y. or Jersey who's byline was a pic of him sitting on his bike. Well they captivated me with stories and the product. Finally got a Buell a month ago and have loved every minute I have got to ride it. Thanks for a great web site. Craig |

Buell lingo for the newbies: 1. Ride. 2. Lean. 3. Smile. Any more is just redundant for the majority. |

and a guy from N.Y. or Jersey who's byline was a pic of him sitting on his bike. That's be Manhattan Mike. The bike is no more since a friend accidentally drove it through a neighbors front door - really Manhattan Mike is thriving and well and usually resides on SacBorg. Henrik |

Daily lurker, yearly poster. Read the newspaper, seldom write the editor. I am a senior citizen, 65+, love Buells, love Bad Web, love Thumpers. I feel too much effort went into pushing the "beginner bike" and too little on " neat little thumper". As prof stack said on another thread, they need to come out with an XB-6, or even an XB-7.2. Rather than Buells beginner bike call it a super thumper. I would be interested to know how many Blast riders on this board are beginners, and how many are like myself, EZ, Xgeko, FSSNOC2501, prof stack and others who own them because they are Thumpers! |

I lurked for several months before getting my Blast. Was mainly reading the archives, so that once I started posting, I wouldn't be rehashing old topics. Also--Dirtsquirt, I got the Blast for a "beginner bike", but now I'm moving toward the other camp every day. I feel like I could probably handle something larger, but I just love the feel of the thumper too much to let it go. |

OK-OK, I'll post. We have two ears but only one mouth - so I like to listen more and speak less (or read more and post less). Wow, that would almost make a good personal quote! I have been lurking since last summer. I just got a 2003 XB9R right before Christmas. This board is a wonderful resource and I hope that someday, in some small way, I can contribute! PS: Thanks Bubba for the quick service! I got the parts I ordered from you sooner than I expected. Of course I had to explain to my wife why I was ordering parts for a bike I just got...! |

I have been lurking a little, I dont own a buell unfourtunately, but I have a superglide. I dont type too well, so I usually just lurk. I found this site back when I had my blast and used to sign in as sasquatch. I wanted a bigger buell, but the insurance is outrageous! I made out better buying a big twin, but I dont like it as much as I would a buell. I miss leaning without the sparks. edited by twincamfxd on January 24, 2004 |

I have been lurking daily for a couple of years I think , have only posted once or twice. I guess I'm just lazy I guess, its easier to just read than to write. I would like an M2 but haven't forked out the money. I tend to do irresponsible things like spend it on the family instead. I have been going through a series of cheap bikes to stay on the road , the last being a $800 FJ1100. I have lived in Austin TX for 20 years and get the biggest grin on my face when you poor soles up North are crying about snow and 3 month riding seasons because I used to live Buffalo NY. Okay I'm probably done posting for another year now. |
