Are the fork legs the same diameter between the X1 and CR where the clamps hold them? (Message edited by puddlepirate on August 21, 2012) |

cant mix and match the X1 and XB/1125 triples... the offsets are different. As Foximus said, you need to use the X1 stem pressed into an XB/1125 lower and then mated to a XB/1125 Upper.... The bottom triple will need to be machined to make it "thinner" so the stem is the correct length. the X1 forks will NOT fit into a late model XB/1125.... ONLY 03-04 triples or any SCG triples. The newer the bike, the larger the diameter of the forks got. If you really want to run 1 1/8 renthals... just get a set of adapters.... I use these - http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 13&cat=0&page=&featured=Y Will raise the bar height a little. |

You can clamp in 1.5mm washers and then run an inch and one eighth Unibit through your stock set up. |

honestly, i can answer the question about the cables. I never ran risers on my X1 triple. I did however have to order a longer clutch cable but that is because i needed to run it a certain way with my XB triple.... and come to think about it... you may be bad at me... but what are your plans for the dash, dont think you can use those riders with the dash. i just realized that. |

You cant use risers with the dash without redrilling something or using an adapter plate.... |

I am currently trying to have a top clamp made that fits on that mates to the bottom parts of these risers so that you can run 1 1/8 bars and still mount the stock gauge mount. if the shop can get them made I will post photos. I plan to try running the Ducati monster bars...I think they will have the right bend to them, buddy has a s4rs and other than the bike I keep eyeballin the bars.... more to follow...hopefully.... |

Ok so on the flip side of the coin what if i were to get my hands on a set of 2004 xb forks and triple trees would that bolt on or would i need to machine the stem down? |

no... then you use the S1/X1 stem, and press that in. |
