On the main page of the S2 Thunderbolt section, scroll up and you will see: "Add your bike to the S2 Owners Registry by contacting Scott Juergens (Velocity). Include your VIN, color of the bike, your Signature Series documentation status, and any other information you may want to record about your S2 Thunderbolt. These are special machines, help us preserve the legacy of the Thunderbolts." I'd assume it is still in existence, 1313 |

Well is it eligible if the signature plate is missing ? It has a Crossroad Performance cover on it. Someone must have ripped off the original one. The last 6 numbers are 133270 & its white. I dont know which numbers they count but thats what my shop manual says they use |

The registry has areas for "signature series intact", "signature series missing", etc. The bike is the bike. It's eligible because of what it is. Having the sig stuff makes it a complete package; not having it, but having that tracked, means someone - if they find it - knows who to get it to in order to complete the package. The signature series consisted of the timing cover, a display box for the timing cover, a letter from Buell to the owner describing the series, and a laminated "playing card" with specs and your VIN number. |

at one point, i think we had listed s2 registry packages that some of us have, that are not for our bikes. I picked one up on ebay a while back, and have one that goes with one of my s2 frames.......REX |

As stated, the value is in the bike. If you don't own the bike, there is no real value in having the Sig Series package. It is nice to look at and is cool, but it is really not worth anything by itself. Although I do know some people pick them up to preserve them, or they would probably get trashed, which is admirable in my opinion. |

Well the bike is mine and I ride it. Why someone would keep the rest doesnt matter, it is what it is. Id sure like to have it but the chances of getting it are slim and none. Is there anything else I need to do to register it. What numbers are used in the vin to denote the number of it |

Anyone know of the S2 number 18 motor out there anywhere? White S2. Number 83. No motor. No signature plate. I have a separate signature plate for bike number 595. Bought a while back. Do you have 595 on the list? I would be glad to share with the owner. REX |

The title says its a 95 though, and the frame sticker says date of manufacture 07/94 so where are you getting the 96 from ? |

I do not have any Signature series items. I bought the bike new in 2009 95 S2 Black Sapphire Pearl and the selling dealer could not locate any Sig. items. My bike has the early Vin # 1B9BRT........332 I would guess I am looking for #332 Signature set. (Message edited by jumbo petite on July 06, 2012) |

Frank didn't start the registry. I started the registry over 10 years ago as a way to track all the owners of S2's and their signature series covers. I turned it over to Frank because maintaining the list was starting to cut into my ride time. I believe Frank passed the list onto Velocity for the same reason. |

Just found out my S2 is number #52. There were some handwritten notes by the former owner who is the service manager and a major HD dealer in SSF. So where can I see this registry? |
