Quote..unless the discussion can be expanded to include the extinct Neanderthal race. Nah, he's not extinct, he's alive and well, living in Hull, loves TVR's and Saabs.... |

Court, Perhaps you misread the post. I want part numbers for the "Hardware" to attach 97 bags onto a S2. I dont need the whole kit. Just hardware. Have bags, will ride. John |

Brian, Go back and scare the guy even more, let him know that the new Buell 'crotch rocket' motors are built right beside the Sportster motors at the Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. You could probably also ask him how many HDs he's worked on that have Buell components in them, such as the Thunderstorm heads. I've seen quite a few. Jim Witt, I also got a kick out of those pictures. We have problems here (John Deere Construction and Forestry Division, Dubuque IA.) getting permits to move crawlers (bulldozers) from our factory to our test area (all of 2 miles). The biggest one we make is 42 tons. I can't imagine what that steam generator weighs. Cool pics though. I'll try to post a few from here when I get a chance. |

The rider is Valentino Rossi when he was racing 250 GP. When he leaves MotoGP, he'll have a future in Rodeo stunt riding Brings new meaning to the old adage of "Never give up, keep fighting/riding until the bars hit the ground." Henrik |

Henrik, You sure that's Rossi on a 250 bike? I've seen that clip in higher resolution before, and was told it's a suzook TL1000..can't tell from this version. But it is one amazing save, to be sure. |

Al; don't know for sure myself - doesn't look like a TL to me - but a MC knowledgeable friend, who posted the link to a mailing list, claims he saw the actual race live on TV; according to him it's Rossi. Henrik |

Hey guys, I took the kids to the local HD dealer and kicked some tires. The wifey is learning how to ride and thought after she gets her license I'll buy her one of the new Sportsters. WOW what an improvement. The workmanship on the '04 is great! Good fit and finish on all the parts. I only wish I could have taken it for a spin. I think a 883 in red metallic (her favorite color) might be in the works when they close out the '04 later this year. |

Karl, How about a Blast! or any other Buell? I've ridden Sportsters. I still think Buells are more fun... Even the Blast (compared to my Cyclone) |

I took my MSF course on a Blast! and didn't think the seat was very comfy. The seat on my bike felt like a lay-z-boy after an 8-hour class. I do like the seats on the XB models but remember this if for the wife and sport bikes arent't really her cup-o-tea. She hates mine 'cause of it's enduro height. |

F1Johny, Sure do, except now it is supposedly so cold you could catch frostbite in a 15 minutes, and the 6 inches of snow is a slight deterent... Prior, got you message, nice pic. Let me know when you are rolling into town, Tues. nite or Wens. morning? Give me a call. Brian |
