I am in need of a new front tire...badly. I am wanting to switch to the 2CT from Michelin, but still have a lot of tread left on the Pilot Power rear Since they are so similar, with only a difference (from what I've heard) being the center being a harder center section. Are there any concerns in doing this? |

The Pilot Road 2CT is a great set of tires. Swap out both- you'll love them. |

i'm very happy with my pilot power 2ct's, both front and rear. this is my initial pair of michelins, and i'm very happy with their grip and wear characteristics. iirc, i've got around 3k on the rear tire and it's still got miles to go. |

Blah. I hated my Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's from pretty much the moment I put them on until I took them off again. Found them to be very skittish when there's even the slightest bit of debris on the road, and squirmy at higher lean angles. Just put on Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's - can't say enough about them. Neutral tip in, excellent grip overall. Warm up very quickly too. |

When running 2CTs, in particular on the CR, you need to raise the front. Show just 9mm of tube above the top triple clamp. |
