Mine is starting to pop there. Mine are just the 2008 stock setup. I just assumed (I know, ass out of you and me) that we were all talking about the same setup. What I am referring to is the style of heater. Buell used a pad style heater that wraps around the bars, under the grips. The biggest failure point seen here is the wire, as it needs to move every time the throttle is twisted. Also, it limits your grip selection. The Polly Grip heaters are a bullet style heater element that sits inside the bars, thus eliminating any exposed wires etc. I did a little write up when I installed mine, check out the pics.... should give you a better idea of what I'm talking about: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/391999.html ...note that in the pics I was installing single level heaters on my XB9S. I have 2 position ones on my XB12X...MUCH better!   Xbkris Posted on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 - 09:47 am:        Well, feel a little perplexed but I think that I fixed my heated grip problem. Just happened to remove the seat and noticed that the neg cable on the battery was loose even though I had checked it 2 weeks prior. It was very loose! Tightened it up and have been using the heated grips every time I ride the bike. on and off the entire trip and it has yet to blow another fuse.
