Its got me thinking about using the Uly to haul the KDX-200. And I'm not entirely kidding. Backing up could be a bi&^% |

Some people have no comprehension of even the slightest bit of physics. This one needs engineering school. |

Apparently it's working for him..... That Trail Tail looks good, and they sell a mount for my KLR....... Is the Uly less than 11.5" across the rear axle? If so it would fit that too. |

That has got to be dangerous, I see so many small trailers voilently swaying from side to side behind cars, behind a bike would be a real crap shoot. With the long trailer tounge you are not putting as much weight on the bike. |

My older brother tows a homemade trailer behind his Dyna Low-Rider. I've seen him off-road with that thing in tow, up and down rutted hills and with a passenger. He doesn't even give it a second thought. I've towed other bikes with a strap and that is not for the faint of heart. |

Not to mention that the owners manual specifically says "NO TRAILERS". |

I've been planning for a one wheel trailer. He could just carry that box on the Uly. I have. |

Personally I would think that these folks towing these trailers have experience with these contraptions and must feel quite at ease towing them. Otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. We can speculate all we want about how bad these setups are but I'd wager that they are just fine. I kind of like that cooler trailer setup. That other trailer's long tongue probably was decided after much trial and error. Just guessing though. I've always been a bit fearful of using a trailer, thinking that I'd forget it was there and get too close to the side of the road and the trailer wheel would get in a rut. Game over man. Anyway, my brother doesn't trip anywhere without his trailer and the kitchen sink. |

Frankly, I'd love to live the lives of the folks who take a chance on a trailer like this. It means they're living life and they're also with a partner who allows it to happen. Rock on. |
