I offered my 2008 1125R with extras to a buyer for $3500. But he's balking. The bike has about 3200 miles on it. Is my price not good? The extras I have left: - mag rear wheel setup for belt drive - Torque Hammer slipon, you need a new ECM from EBR for $310. - GPR damper - race wiring loom - unmounted - Speedcell battery - rear Pitbull stands - unique to the 1125 - complete race fiberglass with ----- windscreen (should be replaced) ----- tail ----- upper fairing ----- airbox cover ----- seat pan ----- bellypan

Your price is fantastic. Hell, I'm half tempted to give you a call, but I have absolutely no use for a track bike. |

DG - you KNOW your price is good. Hell, you could easily part it out and make double that.... Lemme NO if you're still sitting on that in a month or two.... And, as an added bonus, you won't have to spend all that money on bubble wrap this time. |

If I didn't have an F2 with rashed plastic, race rubber and good suspension to use as a track bike, I'd be giving you a call about that bike. I'd love to have an 1125R as a track bike. |

Yep, I'd gladly pay $3,500.00 for it! I'll even raise the bar another hundred and I'm sure someone else would top that. |

Doug, I purchased a shock from you a few weeks ago. It helped immensely. Lap times improved 8-9 seconds. I'm sending you a PM. Please call me. thanks. |

Yes it would be a steal and I'm reconsidering now. Just the stock bike is worth 3500. That rear wheel is a magnesium wheel setup for belt drive. I got it in a trade with Jim Dugger who had it machined for a steel sleeve insert. Apparently the belt drive puts enough tension on the wheels that they fracture. These wheels cost ~$1100 before machine work. The damper and pipe aren't that old, and the body work isn't that bad. Thanks to all of you for helping me to see this a little more clearly. I would like to sell it because it's the only way I can justify getting an 1190RX. If I suddenly came up with a 4th bike I'd probably have to look for a new home. Wait a minute, let me think about this. |

The don't fracture, but the journal for the drive-side bearing just wears out. Then, next time you pull the wheel and axle, the drive side bearing just plops out of the wheel on to the work table! Steel sleeves and loctite sleeve retainer to the rescue! |

I hate to thread jack and do this, but I just dont think anyone is seeing it in the for sale section. I've got my bike for sale too, and wondering if you guys could take a look at this and tell me if it's in a good range. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 685023.html?1343701254 I don't know how to change the thread title to show a the lower price, but I did put it in a post at the bottom of the thread. If this is too big of a thread jack, i don't mind if it is removed. |

Junior, if I were you I would start a new thread with re-sized pics so that potential buyers can see your offering without having to negotiate with window thumbs. The ones you have in the classifieds are bit large. If you don't know how to re-size them try downloading Irfan. It's free and very easy to use. |
