Notice? I was in the T4 grandstands when he ran that lap. It was interesting to watch Danny too. He would slow down to wait for a group of riders to pass him and then go to work on them. Great action! |

Judging by the photos, Dan seems to be OK. The bike is a gonner. Maybe injuries to other riders. See the one where he grabs flag. http://photos.speedtv.com/gallery/AMA_SBK_Massive_ Wreck_at_Laguna_Seca/slideshow/Massive_Wreck_in_th e_Corkscrew_at_Mazda_Raceway/06qgcKEdXR79f |

Seemed like Danny was back on track pretty quick on a back up bike. That was a nice shot of what must be Geoff stopped looking at Danny. Thanks for the link. |

What happened? Judging by the pictures, the Jordan Suzuki may have lost a motor and oiled the track. |

Glad Danny is OK, thanks for the link. Should be a close race, BBoz has beaten Hayes here before, and the top 6 were within .627 of pole. I'm not a fan of the 3 wide grid, but with Geoff's close proximity to the front, it should be exciting!! Go E B R!!! |

you can see in the first pic that oil was coming out of the belly pan in the front so it must have been a wild ride for all of them involved. |

Back up bikes, hmmm? Maybe they are better because they are closer to the street version, huh? No spoiler here though. Good going D and G and all EBR Team!! |

What happened to Geoff? Was he in 3rd for a moment? Then dropped back to 6th and slowing down each lap towards the end. |

Yah, that got me too. 3rd thru 6th for a while was Young, I think Bostrum, Geoff and Danny. Then I saw Geoff in front of the pack. It was even on the timing tower. Then just as quickly it all changed. Won't say more now. Except it was a fun. |

I had a great time today meeting and seeing everyone at the love shack. Fun times I'm already thinking and planning and saving for next year. Till then ride safe and enjoy the rest of the season |

I could only see the AMA live timing. That backup bike of Danny's is the ticket to ride. Maybe Geoff has 'tire on wheel slip' again? I am going around the corner to Hell's Kitchen (yes the one on Dawson's Creek) at midnight. I am between Time Warner and DishTV right now with no SpeedTV. The Dish will be up for NJ...... but tonight.... it is the bar room. |

sounds like an awesome weekend. wished I could repeat the great times had @ the loveshack last year. Good times. Maybe next year. I watched the live tracking & saw Geoff May's rise & drop too. EBR, u had a good show for sure. Can't wait to watch it tonight. |

Maybe Geoff has 'tire on wheel slip' again? If he did, he must have somehow managed to fix it while racing. Both Geoff and Danny had their fastest laps about 2/3rds into the race. I think it was Geoff that had back to back, either lap 14 and lap 15 or 15 and 16. All this from live timing, 1313 |

Amazing thing when Roger Lee blew his motor and oiled the track - and took out 5 others (including Eslick), Danny ran back UP to the top of the hill and took the red flag from the corner worker just standing waiting for a command to flag the track. Danny took the flag and stood there at the top of the hill waving the red flag so no other bikes would round the blind turn and add to the wreckage. Don't have pics but if you search for Dale Kieffer's wreck you'll see that his bike was absolutely demolished. Slick's bike got fixed, ready as a spare for Sunday's race. |

Thanks Steve! I wondered about the pictures I saw of him waving the flag and wondered how the heck that came about... I figured the corner workers were rendering medical aid or something. Good for Danny! I love the competitive camaraderie in the class, it makes it more fun for the fans. |
