Awesome work Frank! A "proper" tail? There is more and beauty in this tail compared to Purpony's! His is good, but Frank's work is amazing. Look at the frame closely, what do you see? |

Wow, a hundred lbs. off of an X1? That was a feat in itself and making it look that good is just the icing on the cake. Good job. |

How did you pull 100lbs off of that bike? |

LoL. 100 pounds really isn't that hard to drop... Getting rid of PM wheels to something like that really takes care of perhaps 25 pounds. The battery drops another 12. From there its just things like getting rid of the gauge cluster, machining the rear pulling, putting on a aluminum front pully instead of that cast iron clunker. Shaving the cam cover drops 2.1 pounds. The OEM aluminum subframe is ridiculously heavy, as are the OEM cast iron rotors, and steel handle bars. And lets not forget dropping the heavy rear passanger sets... Its all just half pounds at a time... I'm probably close to 80 pounds off my s1 (Message edited by foximus on July 30, 2012) |

So,here same information about the wheels they was a aftermarket product for a Honda VTR in the size 3,5x17 and 6x17. The tyre size is 120/70 and 190/50. The inside part was die cast and the outside rim was from BBS a German aluminium wheel company. I have only one problem, you cann't turn the wheel in the swingarm because the spokes are open.thats the way i need some new adapter for the brake and Pulley. The adapter made a friend of my he has the right mill for this job. The brake rotor of the back was from a 180 ccm Kymco scooter the front rotor.
At the front wheel i need only a small distance part to fixed the rotor on the wheel. |
