Well i have straight plug leads on my 00 M2. is this stock? i'm asking as the rear lead seem very close to the gas petcock. just thinking 90 degree plug leads might be better? hope someone can tell me whats stock & what is best. |

Mine has one straight and one 90 degree boot. I believe that is the stock configuration. |

I did change both of mine because they were older and bought a quality set (8 cyl. make your own) I could make/customize and put 90's on both. |

Word of warning - a 45 degree was stock. All current wire sets have "superseded" to a straight boot. I've heard, but have yet to try, that a Dyna rear wire will work and keep it away from the petcock...I need to chase that down for an S2T I'm redoing for a coworker anyway...I'll absolutely post any results I find. |

Just to let you'll know is my 97 S3T has 111,611.2 miles on it and "i" am still running my OEM spark plug wires !!! THEY CAN BE CLEANED AND SPRAYED WITH SILICON TO MAKE THEM LAST !!! |

Thanks Buellistic just saw this, will look for some Silicon as they work , just thought the straight plug fitting looked a bit close to the fuel hose. but 111,000miles they must be ok. |

OK I had it backwards, the back is 90° bent, and the front looks straight. |
