Anyone have any tips or tricks for installing a frame puck? Judging from how difficult it was to remove the original part; there would appear to be no forgiveness in the operation... |

i held it up to it with the sticky stuff still covered & traced it out with a pencil so i knew exactly where to try and get it on. peeled the stuff and stuck it on. the adhesive is VERY good |

AND put down the beer until it is properly attached. Caution; lining it up with beer may not lead to it looking lined up without beer, therefore leading to consuming beer all of the time to make it look lined up, that could get scary around a campfire. Practice fitting it to your pencil marks several times before removing the backing from the sticky stuff. |

Yea the service manual, yes I looked it up after posting this, says the same thing. Position it on the frame and trace around with pencil. |

And always remember: "Improper frame puck installation may result in serious injury or death". |
