Does anyone have Jardine exhaust on their XB?...I know there is a lot of exhaust talk here...i just haven't heard any good/bad news on this exhaust. Also...if anyone has input on what they're running...any input would be appreciated...i'm already aware of the "drummer" and am thinking of it already. I just want to know my options.i'm new to the board, so bear with me. Thanks Rodi |

I didn`t even know that Jardine made a Pipe for Buells? I`ve seen there stuff on Jap bikes and the quality is very good. |

Look in the archives a poster that goes under the name Donald put one on a 12 infact he was the first to get one from Jardine. He also posted Dyno charts. If I remember they weren't to impressive though. |

here is the Jardine on a 12. notice the lack of smooth power and the loss down low. Here is the drummer on a 12 a little bit smoother power curve. here is the drummer and D&D on a 9. the power curve of the D&D on a 12 is very similar to the Jardine. but I can't say for sure what the Jardine looke likes on a 9 as I have not tested it on a 9. you will lose the ability to jack the bike up with the jardine pipe just so you know that. Its more convience than anything. The jardine will more than likely performm on the 9 similar to the D&D becuause their power curves are similar. just so everyone notices. I did not bash or flame anything or anyone. I presented the facts here an thats all. Rodi , heck we thought you already sent your pipe. but thats ok I hope this helps make your decision.

I don't have one to post but close your eyes and imagine this curve from 2.5k to 4k the race kit tourque curve is flat like the drummer but is about 8 ft/lbs less. then at 4.5k to 5.2k the race kit is 2 ft/lbs better then from 5.2k to redline they mimic each other except the race kit is about 3 ft/lbs less. hp wise from 2.5k to 4.5k the drummer is 4 hp better at 4.5 to 5.2 k the race kit is 1 hp better and then from 5.2 k to redline the drummer is better by 3 or 4 hp. I hate to say this and it is just facts so don't jump my arse over it. the race kit has better overall performance than the D&D does. I ain't putting D&D I am just stating facts here. |

I have a Jardine on my XB 12. I am sold, it's a great pipe. The fit and finish is awesome. The 6 1/2 HP gain for a $250 investment is hard to beat.
