Hi, I'm new the the XB and the 1125r scene. Have been a Tube Frame freak for years. I'm converting the 2 bearing rear wheel on an XB to the 3 bearing 1125R rim. I also ordered the correct axle kit with the rim. Where does this spacer/washer go? (circled in blue) Is it needed or just something the 1125 uses? Any help would be appreciated. I only want to do this once. Thank you

It is the sealing surface for the non drive side seal. With the wheel assembly off and in your lap, put that little "spacer" into the seal on the non-belt side. You'll see that it's the sealing surface for the seal on the wheel rather than the seal riding directly on the axel. Then just put the wheel back up into the the bike and slide in the axel. mike :-) |
