Good race Sunday... The gap (when you see it on the track) is not nearly as long as it seems looking at the timing. And the people were great!

I also more or less mugged a couple of Hero guys walking from the pits over to the food, and struck up conversation with them. Nice guys... Young, smart, and personable. |

"Not Dave and Court the Nice YOUNG guys" I'm a little worried some of the tips I gave them might not work out so well in Mumbai Court's driving didn't seem to phase them, sidewalk driving an u-turns are just normal things in India apparently |

>>>,was hoping for better. I'd bet 16 folks were . . . . and folks like KTM, BMW and MOST the Suzuki and Yamaha riders would give their left one to turn in one performance like the Buells have been pretty much turing in weekly. Me? When I see ALL the members of TEAM EBR racking up Top 10 finishes about as regularly as the sun rises. Me? . . . I'm impressed. |

Court, don't forget to measure the length of the lines during the fan walk as well. If you measured success by how many people want to see the bike and meet the rider, Josh Hayes is about 7 seconds out and fighting for second place against Elena Myers (did you see her shirt that says "I just got schooled by a 15 year old girl"? How cool is that!) Not to say that's the be-all end-all... but the really compelling part about competition is as much about the story as it is about the result. And EBR has one heck of a story. |
