can someone tell me what inexpensive tool to use for axle removal (hex head tool). front is left hand thread, is the rear |

The tool is a 7/8" socket nut, it is located in your under seat tool kit. Use that with a 7/8" socket to remove and install the axle. Follow the service manual procedure for installing the axle, incorrect installation can damage the bearings. |

Thanks, forgot about the tool kit. I dont have the manual. Can I find the axle portion on a pdf.? |

Thank you kindly, most excellent help. Mine is missing the rear pinch bolt on the swingarm? Bought the bike from original owner, maybe was'nt there from the factory? Hopefully I can find a substitute bolt. Is the rear axle left hand thread? |

Make sure you use a torque wrench and follow the instructions completely when reinstalling. Otherwise you could crush your spacer and cause premature bearing failures. |

Wheels are off, no problem. Still need to know what length pinch bolt on swingarm? Looks like 5/16" coarse thread? I need to know length. Yes I have torque wrenches. Thanks for the help. |
