I know you had to click on it...WTF? The last three times I have stopped to get gas for my yellow XB9SL, I have noticed a yellow jacket hovering around the gas tank...ooops..I meant airbox cover. These three gas stations are roughly 50 miles from each other. Either there is a yellow jacket living in my bike that comes out whenever I stop to get gas, or there is something about the bike that draws yellow jackets....could it be....the color? There IS a strong resemblance Just another strange but true tale from the Ponca File....

Most likely the color. Bees are attracted to and sometimes angered by bright colors. When we're doing driveway tear outs at work in the summer, bees are always hanging around the bright yellow John Deer backhoe. We get stung alot. |
