Same club Kyle. They cant fix it, they wont take it on trade and with full disclosure I cant sell privately. And no lemon law. |

Mine is not even a month out of warranty and steering head bearings are gone and the clutch weep is now back. No lemon law over here either. |

I really hate it for you guys that got troubled bikes. Truly I do. I've had a few issues but they have been sorted and are staying sorted. I'll make you a deal will give each of you a dollar to take your troubled bikes off your hands |

I have another years worth of payments before I can either pay a final payment of £3,000 or give it back, I think my best option is to fix what is wrong now and put it in to storage for the next year and just live with the fact I am making payments for a year on a bike from Harley Davidson that is so unreliable I can not risk using it then let Harley Davidson have the complete piece of shit back to sell to some poor sucker. Worst bike experience ever. |

I'm sorry reepicheep. I don't understand your post. Could you please explain. I'm really curious. What are you trying to say. |

I really feel for you guys, but I beat the daylights out of my 1125 and it always runs great, save for an ignition switch failure. I think I would lose my mind if I were in your shoes and could not ride my 1125R. It's just so damn much fun! I'm a basket case if I go more that a couple of days. I wish I could give you guys my bike for a couple of weeks so you could know what a good one is like. Such a bummer. |

But how much of the problem bikes are bad dealers or techs that fail to correctly diagnose the problems??? Apart from the stator and clutch weep the majority are trouble free bikes ...........things like steering head bearings are service items ...Ok on some bikes they last longer than others but they aren't what i'd call a problem. |

Bad tech support will kill the best product... I've seen it happen. Wish you lived closer. If ya wanna ride to Colorado, I've got a spare room . Reep just can't believe you'd spend that much on a crap bike.... but YOU didn't. Z |

My machanic has/had a blue and white 09' 1125r. Whatever dealer he worked at, I would follow him. His bike was more reliable than mIne... But not by much. We were neck and neck on stators, rotors for the stator and voltage regulators. Clutch weeps also. But I passed him with fuel pump, cam shaft tensioners, instrument cluster and, ignition key. Ant remember the rest. But he was all the Surport I needed. |

Guard_rail's last post explains it all. "Whatever dealer he worked at, I would follow him". Guard_rail is following a bad mechanic. If the dealer got rid of him there was probably a pretty good reason. My CR has 18,000 miles, no complaints. |

The dealer never got rid of him. They loved him & had just got promoted before he left. He just got better pay at a closer dealer. Since he was planning a wedding he had to look towards his future. His bike had almost every problem mine did. We set our watches by our stator failure. Is he the best??? Nope he, is not a master machanic. Is he a master of the Buell 1125... HELL YES. If you had a chance to talk with or ride his bike or even just to listen to it you would be very impressed. He's not a know it all and when ever I would bring him any info from here or others he would take it and get back to me ASAP. |

Well I sold my 1125R a few months back now and I still miss it. Mine was pretty reliable. Actually, it NEVER broke down at all and with one stator rewind and one clutch weep fixed it was 100%. I was a bit "worried" about the relaibility but it never bit me so I was either lucky or got out too quick. I haven't seen the new owner posting on heer much but he was happy when he took it away and mailed me for a few weeks after saying it was still going well (which I'd expect it to!) I bought a Victory Vegas 8 Ball to replace it and just took delivery of a B-King on the weekend to go alongside it. The Victory is faultless, 100% reliable and attractive too. The B-King is insane! OTT performance, much more than is necessary but fun too. The dealer you use has a HUGE impact on the Buell experience, mine were superb, accepting everything i told them and doing a lot of "preventative" maintenance all for free... Can't fault them at all.. |

I sold mine with 15k on the odo. It was 99% sorted with just the occasional battery light & it was still under warranty. More than likely that was my last Buell, although I am curious to see what comes from EBR. It's been replaced. I don't miss it. |
