Any of the more adventurous off road Buellers fitted dirt bike type foot pegs on the Uly? Fastway or the like? Thanks |

http://www.preeng.com/xcart/product.php?productid= 29&cat=8&page=1 This is what I have. It's a 2" drop instead of 1" but I believe they make a 1" also. Stock is 1". |

Thanks for the update. Not a bad looking setup. Will investigate further. Regards |

I'm with Tootal. I put a set on and really like them. Much better grip, especially in the rain. And the bigger platform is easier on my feet. |

I have some of those on my bike also, I love them. I'm not sure of the drop, because they were on when I purchased the bike. |

Uh oh. I just realized while looking at my Uly that the shift lever and brake lever may be needing some help if my foot is 2" lower. Was this a problem with those who added the drop pegs? |

There should be enough adjustment with the stock pieces. YRMV |

I bought the prescision engineering ones, and I was so pleased by them I bought a set for the back, a shifter, and a brake pedal too. I rode the translab with them, nice and firm and comfortable on the long trips standing up. And I ride offroad in the muck with them, including the recent Canadian GS Challenge / trophy ralley. Great set of products all around.

Thanks Buellsport. They look great Matt! Did you end up with a Uly report on your GS adventure? |

We may have to invest in a shifter and brake pedal assembly. Regards |

I see adjustable ones and regular hotrod ones. Wonder what Matt chose? |

I have the Touratech pegs on my ’06 and the brake pedal is okay, but I definitely need a new shift lever, something adjustable. The Touratech pegs are more forward than the stock ones and it makes the clearance between peg and shift lever tight. I was able to adjust the lever up and gain some clearance, but it makes for an awkward upshift. |

I noticed Precision Engineering also has adjustable shifter and brake levers...not sure if that is a solution to a problem I don't know I have yet after ordering the 2" drop pegs. Got a call into them. |

CDF Eulysses Thansk for the input and updates. Will get the new to us Touratech pegs mounted on the Uly, then make a decision on the brake and shifter. Regards Be safe |
