Drove her home for the first time last night. First time owning a Buell, or a sport bike for that matter. I bought it without riding it but did my research on here first and you guys convinced me I haven't ridden for 10 years and it was a joy to get back on two wheels again. Recently painted by last owner. Formerly Yellow. Imported to Manitoba from Arizona a couple years ago. Not sure what mods, if any, have been done. Not sure on shock upgrade? It needs a battery. Suggestions? I paid $3100 from an estate, unfortunate as this fellow was a Buell-aholic. Owned 4 including a tricked out drag bike from Florida that is still forsale. Not sure if I overpaid but Im 6'5 and this bike fits like a glove. I needed it. Besides riding....Now what? Here are a few pictures...

Welcome to the madness! Very nice-looking bike. Check for the updated primary tensioner and exhaust hanger for starters, I'm sure others will chime in with other things... |

It still has the original CF air cleaner and rear hugger. Don't get rid of those. Looks like the stock front rotor is in good shape too. It appears to be very well taken care of. $3100 is a steal. |

The shock is the 2nd recall shock. That's what is supposed to be on there. |

Interesting foot pegs, can you get a closer shot? Maybe a shot of the muffler too, can't quite make out what type it is. |

Drop the oil pump and check the pinion gear at 10k to 20k miles, and see if its getting eaten. If not, button it up and ride, if so swap it out for the new XB part. |

The footpegs look like Precision Engineering's drop pegs... |
