I'm looking to sell my 2008 Red Buell Ulysses XT. It's not new or fresh looking, particularly, at 21,000 miles. It has had a few nice upgrades, though: Rider Comfort Kit is installed, EBR ECM for Stock Pipe is in, ROX risers, fresh new handlebar (the old one had a tweak in it) going on along with fresh new heated grips tonight, K&N air filter, and the Madstad Bracket on aluminum windscreen with taller, tinted windshield. The bike is running very well (thanks to the EBR ECM), and has fairly fresh Pilot Road tires front and back. Back is a Pilot road 2, front is a pilot road 3. I'd say more than 80% tread left in both. The rear view mirrors have been replaced with Aprilia Tuono ones, which vibrate far less than the originals and I believe are more attractive, to boot! Also, the rear wheel bearings, which can be a source of problems on these pre-2010 rear wheels, have been recently replaced with fresh, high-end ones. Still the original wheel, though. Crankcase breather hose has been rerouted with a filter and catch tube, contributing to smoother idle and low-rev behavior. The voltage regulator and battery were both recently replaced, and the electrical system is charging and holding nicely. The bad: The bike has been dropped on both sidecases. I enjoyed a fair amount of gravel road and rough surface riding, and so these look pretty rough now. One of the front turn signals is also scuffed badly, but still works fine. The very bottom of the front fork has scratches on it as well. Should have put sliders on. The bike comes with the shop manual, the electrical diagnostic manual, and a box of assorted bearings, gaskets, and other bits and pieces which will prove useful in the long term care and keeping of the machine. I'd like to start out at $6000. I appreciate this may be a bit high given the condition of the bags, but I think the range of tweaks and improvements have made a much better-running machine of this than it was from the factory. The bike is in Austin, TX. If it proves too hard to sell without more attractive luggage, I'll have to find some prettier ones! Pictures will be uploaded shortly. |

There's some flexibility on that price. I'm happy to hear reasonable offers. |

It's a beautiful bike, Murph, but I'm afraid not on the trade. If you get luck selling your Honda let me know! Thanks |
