I don't have a real "reason"...but hadn't had the S1W out of the garage for a LONG time. Like, the tags expired about 45 days ago and it wasn't an issue until today. But...today, I wanted to take it for a ride once I finished housework and yardwork, dammit, so I got on the Maryland motor vehicles website, and renewed, and took a ride. Damn, that bike is fun! Only thing I noticed is my six-button front rotor is (finally?) starting to rattle. Thought I had a front exhaust stud pulling out at first...but it's just the brake. Sorry. Just had to share. It was a good evening's ride, on a great hooligan motorcycle |

Joe you scared me. It was starting to read like a farewell story and you were going to sell the S1W. Mine has been relegated to the front of the garage so it has not been out in too long also. |

I finally sold both of my S1's because I found I wasn't riding them. Too uncomfortable for a fat old guy like me. rt |

Nice Ratbuell.. A few months ago I while I was working I stumbled across an s1w. It was under a tarp in this guys garage. I asked the owner if I can take a look at it and that turned into a 45 minute conversation of course. The second he pulled the tarp off it I asked him how much he wanted for it.. hehehe. Long story short.. at the time I didn't have any extra cash. He told me he had no plans to sell it but when I have some money in pocket to give him a call. They are the sexiest of the tubers IMO. My x1 needs a stable mate. |
