Hi, I am a new member. I have already read some old threads on this subject but still have a couple of questions. First, i'd like to say that I have only been riding for 5 years and am not very mechanically savvy, so the simpler you can make it the better. Two days ago I was riding when I noticed that the cluster was dark and it read SYSTEM VOLTAGE. In addition the blinkers did not work and once I stopped and turned off the engine the the radiators ran for a minute or so which is unusually long. When I restarted it, it was normal again for about ten minutes and then back to the SYSTEM VOLTAGE. So, what I've gathered from the old post is that I need a new voltage regulator. And that the Compu-fire 55402 is a good option. Is all of this so far correct? Anything additional I should know or check before I order the new one? And once I get the regulator where is the best place to mount it, and should I have it done by a shop or can I do it? Thanks in advance guys. Any help is much appreciated. |

Sorry, I don't own an 1125. I'm pretty sure most people are out riding at the moment. Check out these threads & maybe post there for an answer. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/646530.html?1338680337 I hope this helps & welcome to the board. Chris C |
