I know I'm a dense old fart but I just went to some trouble to watch the race today and it was fun but it was not the race I wanted to see. In fact, I lost another beer on that darned triumph. Speed's schedule on their site just confuses me. I get so pissed off about it I can't see straight. Can someone please explain to me if and when there will be some Buells racing on tv? Please use pacific time. Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to help out a dense old fart. |

If you go to the AMA site, they tell you which race is being aired on what day and what time: http://www.amaproracing.com/ Scroll down; it's on the right side of the page. |

Right, but when you are on the AMA site, be aware that times are MDT in Tooele, Utah, so adjust for your time zone accordingly. |

Just click here and set your timezone: http://www.speedtv.com/schedule/timezone/et/ AMA site should really put a time zone designation for the races. |

When it says 5 PM EST I think it means 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Is it really all that difficult to figure out what time it's on in your time zone from there? |

yea, they only place the timezone designation in one spot and thats for the broadcast... it's not in the schedule, and... there is even another place where it just says "local time"...is that race local or AMA headquarters local?? haha... When I go to the site I am usually wanting to see the schedule of events, on the site or via pdf... no EST there. Unless I am blind as a bat. Everything should be designated EST or Eastern standard Time, we all know it's the best time of all. |

"EST" would really confuse the issue since it's now "EDT", eastern daylight time. |

They run about the same as the bikes that don't make the superpole. Josh Hayes qualifying time 1:49.7 would have him elimitated in the first round of superpole. Smrz at 1:47.6 was #1. The big thing for world superbikes was to be the first bike over 200 mph at the traps on the front straight no one did it but 3 were close at 199.3 mph. The best AMA bikes were running 185-187. The EBR's were at 175-179 with May having a qualifying time of 1:50.2. that would have put him 17th on the grid. How does that compare with BSB and WSB now? |
