20 degrees outside today with gusting winds. I test rode a 2001 M-2 and a 2000 X-1. I like the Lightning a lot due to the fuel injection and handling so I think I'll go for it. The Cyclone seemed rather wimpy but handled just a well until the throttle stuck open as I crested a hill. I managed not to hit the car in front of me and returned to the dealer. The mechanic said that water was in the throttle and had frozen. They cleaned and lubed it and I rode off again only to have it stick solid. This bike also shifted like crap and vibrated more than the Lightning. Now I'm going to ask lots of questions about the Lightning to help me fix it up just right. Thanks guys |
