If your talking about the actual fender all i did was trim the right side to match the left. If your asking about the plastics trimmed it as far down as i could without exposing parts i really do not want nothing past half in the rear |

Looks like a stock X1/S3/M2 rear hugger, that has the belt guard trimmed off. Does not appear to be the stock S1 carbon fiber hugger, which is what most people (unfortunately) cut down. Looks good. I like the all-black. Only things I would have done is polish the header instead of wrapping it, and gotten a Buell air intake...but a very nice looking motorcycle. |

I think it looks very nice. I also like the way that it looked when you had it flat black with the silver leaf. What grips are you using the ones from American Sport Bike or are they Rizoma? What bar end mirror is that? |

I was talking about the fender where the license plate is mounted, I wasn't trying to be critical, though, I understand everybody is different. |

Great work! May I suggest you consider blacking out the hardware you have attaching your catch can? |

Rat i kinda like the hyper charger. As for the header wrap the PO messed up the header so the wrap is covering a weld repair i will get a new one at some point hopefully ceramic coated! Huppdog- grips are from American Sport Bike the mirrors i made could not find what i wanted! Fahren yes you can and its an excellent idea Blk11 no offense taken the po had cracked it up under the repaint and bondoed it up plus just dont like the long look i am actually wanting one from speed of color but 600 plus shipping ouch Thanks guys |

I'm diggin' it! Question though... Does that license plate frame serve as turn signals and tail/stop light? And do you have any close-ups of your catch can mounting? I have one on the way and I'm still toying with mounting location ideas. |

I just saw an ad for the all-inclusive brake light/running light/turn signals plate surround, but I only saw it in chrome. They looked cool - how is the LED brightness? |

The plate frame serves as the running lights, brake, plate, and signals it is plenty bright. I purchased it from radiantz beware of the cheapos they are not built very well. I mounted the catch can with two stainless hose clamps that I added the rubber sleeve off of other clamps to for paint protection and I picked up two shock res rubber mounts from Works for $2 I will be painting the clamps black per the idea above (Message edited by s1owner on May 24, 2012) |

Beautiful. Well done! Are the wheels powder coated, or painted? I'd like to know how they hold up over time. |

S1owner, we'll have to get together some time. I'm up in ST.Cloud. It would be kind of cool to see two S1's together, that's if I can fix my shock issue. Otherwise I can take the XB or the Super Blastard. Looks great by the way. Can't go wrong with black. Matt |

The wheels are powder coated and also have a uv coating and a clear coat so hopefully they hold up! |

I'm tired of the pull shocks. I looking at making a xb shock work by a cantilever system in the stock location. I'll look at it harder when I get back from home coming. Matt |

No wrench fits that bleeder, and it's made of lead. F:-) :-) k that thing. I hate it. It is the bane of my existence. Needle nose vicegrips, only acceptable application. |

SO how do you like the new grips compared to stock? I know you said that you bought them from asb but they look identical to the Rizoma ones. What name brand is on them? I don't like the stock grips and am looking to get a new pair. Something with more cushion and potentially some bar ends. |
