getting to the point of replacing my tires. Where i live the roads are mostly long straights. would like a tire that if hit corners can run hard, but still don't want to wear the center out at 2500 miles. had some metzlers on my x-1 i really liked. but that tire is no longer available. I don't do track days or even push my bike to anywhere close to its potential |

Michelin Pilot Roads, either PR3 or PR2. I have close to 7k on the PR2's on the S2, and they look new. Dual compound is what you want, regardless of make. Hard rubber down center, sticky stuff on the sides - long life and good handling in the twisties. |

I have RoadSmarts on my S3 and plan to put the RoadSmart II's on my 1125R soon! Have quite a few miles on the s3 and no flat spot, great on wet or dry roads! |

Metzeler Z6 Interacs. Had no problem with them on the track, and they were well on their way to outlasting the OEM rubber, but I traded the bike away before I could see how long they'd ultimately last. |

I had Pilot Road 3's on my old XB and can't wait til these Corsa 3's are done so I can put some PR3's on my CR. |

One thing for sure -- it looks like the consensus of opinion is for multi-compound tires, whatever the flavor. |
