Just sold my '99 S3. So now down to two Buells in the garage. Saw a lot of the country from the seat of that bike. Went to a good home. He will probably show up here. So on the one hand, one less bike to take care of, on the other hand, one less bike to ride... Shane |

Got a Blast. Got a '99X1. Sold the X1. Got a Uly. Sold the Blast. Now I only have the Uly. Gotta love this economy (& the $20K/yr income reduction we suffered!) I feel for you. Chris C |

Shane... Always tough to let some of the toys go. I sold my two S1's a few years ago.....hated it at the time, but now I totally know it was the right way to go. Dmv/insurance/tires saving are helping to redo the S2. Ride safe...Jack |

I just said I have two in the garage, only one is mine, the '95 S2. The '02 S3 with the 1250 kit in it is my wife's bike. But the '99 S3 I just sold, I rode it in every state west of the Mississippi River, as well as Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Been from the Mexican border to Canada on it, all since 2002 when I bought it used. Fun bike. I went for a period with no two wheeler back in the 80's, what with raising two kids and spending 5 months a year on the boats in Alaska, there just wasn't time to ride. I did have a couple of three wheelers up there and a little 50cc Honda bike that we would haul into the beaches to go beach combing. But I got back on the highways down here in the early 90's and I SURE DO ENJOY IT. |

I'm down to one, my '95 S2. Like Jack, I sold my S1's. As cool as they were, I realized that I hardly ever rode them because of the discomfort. Now that I have more room in the barn, I picked up a used KLR 650, and I'm having a ball on it. rt |
