This is a Hein Gericke Gore-Tex Pro-Shell Lock-Out vented leather jacket with SaS-Tec armour (the best), liner and brand new with two years warranty. I have the pants and they are great so had been looking for the jacket for some time. This stuff is in the Rukka price range and silly money. Its RRP was 800 UKP and still 500 UKP. At 250 UKP I just could not resist even though I have enough bike gear to fit out a small army. I just need to hide it from the wife for a while? |

Very nice. I've had HG gear in the past and loved it. Great designs and construction. Enjoy the good stuff! |

Full armour with back as well. The SaS-Tec CE armour shapes to your body, though body heat, once you put the gear on. It works great and you hardly notice it. The only problem is that it is very expensive to buy if not supplied with a product like this jacket. Its also hard to find as well. I think it costs more than some think its worth. |

I have it now and its great. It has a "touring" cut to it so not real tight like most leathers. I am a big guy with wide shoulders, long body and very long arms and it fits me great. Most stuff does not and its always been a problem for me. Its a good weight of leather as well along the lines of the old Italian made Dainese Luce gear. The build quality is good but the odd stitching fault, but nothing serious, lets it down a touch on a product that costs so much. It has a full joining zip, I have the pants as well, but it made the suit tight in the back for me on the bike. I get this a lot so I have made a 110mm extension with high quality double layer vertical stretch only material. Its something I do with other gear and the silver zip is so I can use the pants with my Dainese Gore-Tex textile jacket.
Sewing may not be a "Manly" thing to do but I am unable to find anyone who can do this sort of thing anymore so I do it myself now. A cheap sewing machine and a bit of practice is all that is needed. This extension only cost me $5 in materials. |

Nice jacket, looks like the Pilot model I used to own. I miss that set sometimes. |
