I have a 1999 x1 with a force winder instake and force exhaust system with a stock ECM. the bike idles good but has a rough spot at around 2-3K rpm. i jsut bought and installed a race ECM, reset the TPS... the bike will not idle worth a damn. so i re-installed the stock and it runs good. checked the map on the stock ECM and it seems that i do not have a stock map... anyone want to share some knowledge. does anyone have a good map that is for a force exhaust and a force winder instake? any amps wpuld h\be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

I had the same problem after removing my PowerCommander and flashing in the Race ECM.
I have the Force exhaust and intake, when running in the closed loop, the bike would spit out the intake and lean itself out for some reason. I'd reset the AVF but it would keep on doing it, the spark plugs were white as snow. From what I found out it's the properties of the Force exhaust that do that.
I used ECM Spy to remove the O2 sensor's input (basically shut it off) and to shut off the Check Engine Light associated with it. It runs just fine now, maybe a bit on the rich side from examining the plugs but I'd rather have a little rich than a lot lean.
