Time to get new brake pads. Have only used the stock kind, but looking at other options. -no track time (yet, with none planned) -sort of aggressive on the street, but nothing crazy. I just want something thats good and will last. Dont want to spend a hundred bucks. Ideas? Stick with stock pads? Just looking for other badwebber advice/opinion |

I have used ferodo on the S1 for over a 15 years. I ride 36psi F&R, the CR front pads changed out with tires at 8 or 9K miles? The pads weren't gone, I took the opportunity as long as it was all apart for the tire change. Ferodos are reasonable $, maybe a bit better than the OEM. |

I'm tagging along just for the information. Since I'm not always on the brakes, and I tend to get plenty of time to cool the brakes off between applications, I'd like to know what pads grab like hell when they're cold. I don't really track my bike, so I don't want a pad that has to go through a lot of use to be brought up to working track temps before it starts grabbing. I don't really care that much about cost, lifespan, or dust. I just want something that'll do a stoppie when cold if that's what I need to stop the bike. |

So far I have had 3 pads on my bike: stock, EBC HH and The Lyndal(sp) Golds... I like the EBC the best of those. I think the stocks worked very well but for street use the put too much build up on the rotor. |

it would help if you guys who are talking about how much you love pads could also tell us what application you like them for. street pads are very different from track pads. |

My bike is mostly aggressive street riding and track days here and there (3 so far). |
