I think its a good idea, especially since parts and information are scarce. There are some former factory people scattered about who have a great deal of information and from my experience, a great willingness to share. | ||

Rex: This would be an excellent idea. There exists a powerful BOK with regard to the RR/RS/RSS. It's incumbent on us to protect and preserve it. We need to make certain, and we're off to an excellent start with Al (Leftcoastal) and Rich C., to engage some of the folks who may not currently own an RS but who have a wealth of knowledge. On a more serious note: would it make sense to break it off as anything Pre-Harley, to include the RR bikes as well? Call it "The Buelly Mammoths"? 
One could make a pretty convincing argument that the S2s really share more with the last Westwinds than the later S1 and S3. For that reason, maybe renaming the S2 forum and putting it all in there might make sense? Just ideas. | ||

I agree with Greg. The S2 falls in with the RS pretty well. It would be cool to get a list going of all RR and RS bike out there. How many are left? | ||

I too agree with Greg. An S2 and an RS1200 are nearly identical. There are almost zero common parts between and S2 and an S3. I would include the S2 in the section. Court | ||

For me I think we should keep the separate section for the S2 as it is and form a new RR/RS/RSS, i.e. all for all the 441 Buell Motor Company bikes and the two bikes made before that under the previous parts company name. I think a nice clean division between the Buell Motor Company and Buell Motorcycle Company bikes would be good. Just my thoughts... Regards Gavin 1990 RS1200 number 59 | ||

Looks like we will keep the S2's separate as they are now, and as the M2's are set up. Will do the RR/ RS/ RSS, from what I understand. i think this will work.... It would be good to have a list or know where some of these bikes reside... | ||
